Famous Locations is the largest online community devoted to providing detailed information on locations! specifically those featured in movies, film, and TV.

The site was built by avid film fans who were not satisfied with the limited information available on film locations. Some of us just wanted to know more about a favorite location. Where is it exactly? What fun facts surround the location? Others wanted to share personal footage of a cool location. In developing the site, we realized that each location means different things to different people - and that it is terrific fun to share location information with each other.

At the core, Famous Locations is designed to be a fun place to learn more about specific locations - be it a scene you saw last night - or one you watched years ago in your favorite oldie.

If you know where a scene was filmed, or have fun facts on any specific location, please feel free to add information to an existing site at Famous Locations - or create a new Location Page. The site is designed as a community. We hope through an interactive wiki-style approach, that Famous Locations continues to grow. Most of all, we hope Famous Locations provides you with hours of pleasure.
