Great site but I've noticed that there is a mistake about my area. I searched for Birkenhead and that comes up alright, however, it says that it is in Mersey when it is actually Merseyside. Just to check, I typed in Merseyside. That didn't come up. Like I said a really good site but I believe that t alteration to Merseyside should be made. Thanks, Daniel

I downloaded (the Famous Locations Guide) successfully, thanks! Looks like it will be really helpful to me, too. Michelle

Hello, I'm a travel reporter researching a pre-Oscars story on walking tours to classic/cult films. I've taken the Third Man tour in Vienna, and am hoping you can direct me to some other choices. As part of my degree I have to do a dissertation related to my course (in my case tourism management). For my dissertation I have decided to investigate what extent movies filmed in Britain contribute to the sustained growth of tourism in the UK. Great web site. Keep up the good work. Very informative! Mahalo, Bob Jasper President Movie Tours, Inc.

I am part of the media team at a West Midlands College, has a team we have visited many movie locations in Europe and not just taken pictures of the outside we have succeeded in achieving the near impossible of getting inside the buildings themselves. Here is a great example of one of many pictures we have managed to get. Frenzy was filmed in Covent Garden London, I was not contented with the shot of the outside of the building I got inside the building and took a great shot of that classic pan scene from upstairs to outside into the street. Places we have been: The Krays, Jack the ripper, The elephant man, The third man Austria, Don't look now Venice, Lawrence of Arabia Seville, Frenzy, Peeping Tom, Mission Impossible Prague. We are about to endeavour on our travels in two weeks to Rome, Naples, Sorrento. Here hoping to Locate Movies shots from: The classic Roman holiday, Only You, and The talented Mr Ripley. Regards Lyndon Baylis

According to your site in the movie Rocky, the Apollo-Rocky fight took place at the Grand Olympic Auditorium. I'm pretty sure the fight took place at the LA Sports Arena. The scene in Rocky where Rocky enters the empty arena before the fight with Apollo is clearly the LA Sports Arena. I believe the fight with Apollo in Rocky II was also filmed at the LA Sports Arena. And just to add some extra info for your site, the brief wrestling scene in The Bad News Bears go to Japan was filmed at the LA Sports Arena. And the wrestling scene in Spider-Man was filmed at the Grand Olympic Auditorium. Damon Van Dam.

You've got a great website. I hope to be able to contribute more. Thank you and my compliments on your excellent website. Ed Cook

I first want to say I love your site. Its so fun to look up the places I have recognized in films on your site to see if I'm right about what I think I've seen. But there is one famous scene for the Flagstaff area that you don't list on your site. So I thought I could tell you about it. Michael Nagy.
