Scenes: The train pulls in to Castletown Station - John Wayne, Sean Thornton, gets off the train - Sean looks for directions to Innisfree - Michaeleen says, 'Innisfree this way' - The pony & trap is waiting - Sean smiles to see Michaeleen on the pony & trap - Mary Kate, Maureen O'Hara, waits for the train out of Castletown. Sean, John Wayne arrives to fetch her back. Anecdote: Back in 1991 this author spoke to the station-master's wife who was there on the day of filming. She vividly remembered the scenes. The scene that she recalled most fondly was where Sean takes Mary Kate off the train. As they are making their way back towards the exit they get entangled by one of the roof support posts. Having negotiated that Mary Kate has to jump over some luggage. 'That poor girl must have jumped that luggage a dozen times', she said. The waiting room that John Wayne walked out of to follow Michaeleen, Barry Fitzgerald, to the pony and trap, was also used for some of the music that was heard in the film, i.e. The Wild Colonial Boy.
